Maintenance and Repair Vendor Summary 
Vendors are requested to provide a written quotation for repair costs prior to work being carried out with a reasonable expectation of the problem and a diagnosos for the repair. A sample letter of what has been sent out to vendors in attached below.

Survey Meter Repairs
Survey Meters can be repaired at the following locations;
Medical Center Clinical Engineering
The Clinical Engineering group is not currently servicing units from the campus.
Ludlum Measurements, Inc
Survey Meters with Geiger Muller detectors ( except Technical Associates) are repaired at the Ludlum plant in Sweetwater, Texas.
They repair their own units in addition to Victoreens, Eberlines, WB Johnsons, SE International.
Repair their own survey meters.
Repair cost provided after on-site inspection.
** Note if meters went for repair and were not calibrated, OEH&S can calibrate.
No meters can be used if out of calibration as this is a violation of the regulations.**
