Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is …

• an online shopping experience with externally hosted vendor catalogs such as Fisher and VWR, as well as an internally hosted UCSF catalog made up of vendor agreement items. Catalog offerings will continue to expand over time, as additional vendors and agreement items are added by CPBC.
• a tool to order, track, verify and report on purchasing activity. Once the Requisition is entered, the department can see where it is in the life cycle — has it been approved, dispatched, received, paid, etc.
• comprised of new and existing PeopleSoft modules that integrate with current financial systems at UCSF.
• for purchasing activities only and does not include reimbursements for travel, entertainment or research subjects.
• not used for purchases of animals, courier services, recharges or reoccuring charges.
